In 2007, all4DVD created a specialty DVD for Yamaha’s player piano Disklavier, which was a huge success for Yamaha. all4DVD applied a brand new concept to the use of DVD video technology in the music industry. For a tradeshow and reseller application, Adrian Ramseier authored a DVD that has the ability to play video on a flat screen DVD player while Yahama’s Disklavier plays along simultaneously. The Disklavier is triggered to play by an audio-synch channel coming from the DVD. Attendees at the NAMM show were able to experience this concept live. Resellers and attendees were very impressed and as a result, this new demo concept was very well received at the Yamaha Disklavier reseller locations.
